various WIP

Despite numerous messages and advices, I decided to let my Chancellerie like it is. I do not want it to look like a huge pile of rubbles.

the family being awa this week, I had time to finish it - well adding the interior walls this it it.

Finished painting, basing and washing a group of Volkssturmmen ( 30) and realized.. the wife went to Normandy with my camera..Thanks god, she's back on Monday - the camera AND the wife. and next week I'll be on holliday..

Finished the "boulevard". Basically, it is a road section with two sidewalks, a central strassenbahn line and a 16centimeters wide road section. Had to mould these in order to have as many as required by my plan.

Stay posted. Next week, God helps, the programm will be:
priming the buildings and roads; fixing lampposts (a hundred ready) and a squad of Hitlerjugend...

Vossstrasse Nr 6

I had the "frontiscipe" for ages and thought it was time to use it.

So here we are, this is my "personnal" interpretation of the Reichs chancellry few hours before the final collapse.

Some already suggested I should extend the damages. Bet I will..

Realized my Friedrichstrasse is way too narrow...

Will have to expend it, which means I will NEVER play this scenario on my gaming table...

Added the "supposed to be" last structure on the whole and realized there is some space left, actually will add two more structures , one office building and one ruin..

Did this one yesterday eve.

Need to glue the inside walls, add some bits here and there..

Basically, i should be done with the "building part" of the project.

Next steps being.. painting these and assembling opposing forces, designing the scenario, etc.

Still, wonder whether I will not make an office building with rectangular shape windows, the models could then be used for another mad project... the REICH's Chnacellerie..

started the "Big structure" yesterday.
It is a 3/4 rubbled building 70cm x 27cm, two storey.
I added a Nazi eagle on top of the main entrance, it looks really "barbarian"...

All going well, should be finished end of this week.
With this one, my first part of the project will be over. Time to assemble all parts of the "district", decide whether I'll be using single or double lanes for the central street -bet it will be double lanes - and off to paint..... blanck, grey..

Next project will be the defense of sector C - Zitadelle - by the elements of the 33.SS-Freiwilligen Division CHarlemagne.. French blokes mind you! Funny hey last defenders of Hitler's Bunkers were Frogs..
